Rankings

The Rankings have been consolidated into a single area, replacing the previous separate areas for Team, Warrior, and National rankings.  Explanations for the Team Rankings and Road Warriors, courtesy of Brian Brickler, have been included.
Paying Dues

The online dues payment feature is current disabled pending some accounting adjustments.  Once completed, it will be back in operation as it has been.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  However, you can still send in your dues payment.

Fall Regattas

There are still two key fall regattas remaining that deserve consideration.  This coming weekend is the Polar Bear Regatta and following weekend is the C Worlds.  Check out the official schedule for details.

49th Blue Chip

There will be two guests this year! Their combined accomplishments (in no particular order):

  • All American collegiate sailor
  • J22 Midwinters – 1st
  • Tornado US National Champion
  • Johnson 18 Nationals Champion
  • J24 North American & Nationals Champion
  • Lightning North American Champion
  • J24 Worlds – 2nd
  • Thistle National Champion (8 times between the two Mystery Guests)
  • Snipe Miami Midwinters Champion
  • US Sailing Champion of Champions Winner
  • Y-Flyer Midwinters Champion
Both are very accomplished dinghy sailors as well as small keel boat sailors. The PYC hopes that all Blue Chip qualifying skippers attend this year to challenge our Mystery Guests.

Make your plans to join the Inland at Okoboji.  There will be a lot of great sailors present to make it a memorable event.  Check out the recap of the Inter-Lake regatta and information about the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  All of this is in Volume 2, Issue 20a.
